After a trip through France over three decades ago, our renowned grower, Joe Aparicio, put 40 Chenin Blanc Vines in the ground. With a sordid history to say the least, few other common white wines come close to an Old Vine Chenin Blanc. This limited production wine is for the dedicated: dry straw, ripe tropical fruits, acidity and tension - one of the few, special, unspoken characteristics of distinct wines.
